A static scale is used to weigh the goods at rest. These include crane scales, platform scales, pallet scales, hopper scales or truck scales.

Crane scales
Crane scales from EmWeA are used for the simple weighing of suspended loads on cranes, chain hoists, etc. The maximum possible loads of crane scales range from 150 kg to 55 t, depending on the model.
OIML-compliant crane scales are available for legal-for-trade weighing. The integrated alibi memory (optional) serves as verification. Crane scales with ATEX approval for potentially explosive atmospheres are also available.
